We all know that the TN constituency election 2021 has been over and results are announced on May 2nd and May 07(today) the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers are taking in-charge of their respective offices. There are many interesting facts about the newly formed cabinet. There are some new departments. Read the following article to know more interesting facts.
INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE NEW
CABINET OF TAMIL NADU.
M.K. STALIN: CM will hold some
other portfolios like Public department, special initiatives, and implementation
and welfare of Differently abled persons.
DURAIMURUGAN: Minister for water
resources will also hold the portfolios of Legislative Assemblies, minerals, and
mines. It is to be mentioned that the Department of
water resources is newly formed.
M.SUBRAMANIAN: Minister for Medical
and Family Welfare, Health. The health department has
been renamed the Department of Medical. This minister is the former mayor of
Chennai.
PALANIVEL THIYAGARAN:
He is an MBA graduate in finance, son of the former speaker, PTR Palanivel Rajan. He
is now given rightly the post of Minister of Finance and Human Resource Management
(HRM). The department of HRM was formed newly.

A new department for
non-resident Tamil welfare is formed.

S. Muthusamy and Rajakannappan
are the ministers of ‘Housing, Urban development and ‘Transport’. Both are
becoming the ministers after a gap of 25 years.

One more interesting fact is that Mr. I. Periyasamy, Minister of Co-Operation won his constituency with a border of more than one lakh votes.
